AMC STI (SeXitest) - Complete Detection of Sexually Transmitted Infections
SeXitest is a clinical test to detect all types of sexually transmitted infections. STIs are caused by infections that spread mainly through sexual contact (vaginal, oral and anal) and through close personal contact.

Description
SeXitest - Complete Detection of Sexually Transmitted Infections
SeXitest is a clinical test designed to detect all types of sexually transmitted infections. The analysis detects all microorganisms present in the sample, enabling the identification of all pathogenic microorganisms responsible for STIs.
Complete Detection
Detects all microorganisms present in the sample including Chlamydia, Herpes, Gonorrhea, HIV and other sexually transmitted pathogens.
Indications
Sexually active individuals, people living with HIV, people who inject drugs and at-risk populations.
Pathogens Detected
Bacteria
- Chlamydia trachomatis
- Neisseria gonorrhoeae
- Treponema pallidum
- Mycoplasma genitalium
- Ureaplasma spp.
Technology
Nanopore NGS Technology for STIs
We use Nanopore NGS sequencing technology that provides superior sensitivity and specificity for the detection of sexually transmitted pathogens, even at low viral loads.
Technological Advantages
High Sensitivity
- ✅ Detection of very low viral loads
- ✅ Identification of coinfections
- ✅ Accurate quantitative analysis
Specificity
- ✅ Strain differentiation
- ✅ HPV typing
- ✅ Specific resistances
Sample
Sample Types
Accepted Samples
Urine (first void)
Non-invasive sample, ideal for initial screening
Urethral/vaginal swab
Higher sensitivity for certain pathogens
